Responsibilities of the Controller position: Management of the bank's capital, liquidity and interest rate risk components. Cost control, negotiations of vendor contracts, risk insurance coverage evaluations, and relative profitability goals comparisons. Management of accounting, fiscal reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis functions of the bank's practices in a timely and accurate manner. Requirements of the Controller position: Banking experience required. Bachelor's degree preferred in an accounting or financial based curriculum. 6-9 years experience with responsibility of management. Strong computer skills along with working knowledge of legal and regulatory banking compliance.
