IS Instructional Design & Delivery Specialist Our client is seeking an IS Instructional Design & Delivery Specialist to join the IS Client Service team. The IS Instructional Design & Delivery Specialist consults and partners with key stakeholders and peers to create, implement and deliver learning strategies that develop technology-related skills in order to enhance the firm’ s performance and efficiency. This role will work with peers on the IS Learning & Development team, as well as other groups within the firm, to prioritize the IS training workload and determine learning strategy. The IS Instructional Design & Delivery Specialist will assist in assembling learning and development materials into curricula and training programs that serve attorneys and staff. This role is also responsible for updating and curating current training materials and researching and finding new sources of ready-made training content. The Instructional Design & Delivery Specialist is responsible for delivering new hire training and other classes, in physical and virtual classroom environments, to all personnel. An Instructional Design & Delivery Specialist has strong consultation skills, is an innovative problem solver, has the ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities, works well with others and can establish credibility at all levels of the organization through communication, knowledge and professional presence. The Instructional Design & Delivery Specialist is able to identify the most efficient and effective adult learning methods to deliver intended content. Candidates must have 2+ years' experience with legal software systems and 2+ years' experience successfully participating in and coordinating training projects in a business setting. Prior instructional design and curriculum development experience delivering technology-related material is required. Also required is a demonstrated ability to develop learning objectives and competency requirements, reference guides, instructor-led materials and evaluations/assessments and an understanding of techniques used to facilitate adult learning. Prior in-person and virtual classroom experience teaching technology-related material is also required. Ideal candidates should have the ability to not only conduct training sessions, but to be a multi tasker who can create training documentation, conduct training programs via video, in person or webinars, handle new hire orientation training, cover/travel to other offices as needed (won’ t be too frequent). Must possess excellent communication skills including public speaking (conducting small and large training group sessions).
