Doherty Staffing Solutions has a career opening for a dynamic, energetic individual to join us as a Business Development Manager in our northern Minnesota market.  This position offers a base salary with uncapped commissions, car and cell phone allowance, as well as the opportunity for professional development and career advancement. <?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

 

Summary

In this position, you will be responsible for building relationships and growing business in northern Minnesota. You will be connecting with area employers to learn about their business/hiring needs and assessing how Doherty Staffing can be a strategic partner. You will learn all service offerings of Doherty, and have the opportunity to partner with companies in a wide range of industries.

 

Business Development Manager Responsibilities

o   Compile lists of prospective customers.

o   Prospect via internet, telephone, networking, social media and face to face meetings.

o   Build relationships with decision makers.

o   Partner with internal staff to facilitate the placement process and provide clients with a high level of customer service.

o   Maintain client relationships and seek new opportunities for areas of growth.

o   Identify and adapt to changing market trends.

o   Build your portfolio through ongoing new business development.

 

Business Development Manager Requirements

o   Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Marketing preferred

o   Previous sales or relationship management experience

o   Work well independently and also as a team

o   Valid driver’s license

o   Desire to succeed
