Job Description

Are you looking for a full-time Customer Service position at an engaging company? Doherty Top Talent is partnering with a leading supplier in the utility billing industry located in Woodbury, MN. We are seeking candidates for a Customer Service Representative to work mid-shift, 7:00am-3:30pm or 7:30am- 4:00pm, Monday-Friday. Compensation for this temp-to-hire role is $14.00-$16.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Customer Service Representative Main Responsibilities:

  • Professionally and courteously answer telephone calls that come into our toll-free number from municipal, county and private utilities nationwide– responding to approximately 60 calls per day
  • Analyze account information, execute efficient problem-solving skills and accurately note customer accounts in a timely manner
  • Complete credit card and check payment transactions by phone
  • Assist with service orders
  • Sort/Distribute incoming mail payments for billing department
  • Pick up and return voicemails during busy call center times
  • Fax, scan and organize documents 
  •  Other daily assigned tasks by Customer Service Representative Lead

Customer Service Representative Key Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year experience in call center or customer service environment 
  •  Must be extremely dependable - attendance and punctuality are critical 
  •  Strong attention to detail, ability to effectively problem solve and possess strong analytical skills 
 Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems   Positive, team-centered attitude   Ability to listen and retain information   Must have organizational skills and strong ability to multitask
