We have a temp to hire position for a Human Resources Assistant at our Ontario location. Summary Assists with administering policies relating to all phases of human resources activity, provides department support and back up, and maintains department record keeping by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assist with any or all areas and/or process following company protocols for the following: Recruiting and staffing logistics. Employee orientation, development and training logistics and record keeping. Employee relations. Communication between company and employees. Compensation and benefits administration and record keeping. Safety, welfare, wellness and health reporting. Employee services. HR filing system. Leaves of Absence. Job Descriptions. Assists Safety Coordinator (s) as needed and/or requested. Facilitates, completes and/maintains company Safety Committee Meetings, materials, company locations walkthroughs and record keeping. Monitors, schedules and maintains records for company safety training. Assist with and complete projects as requested by management. Completes staffing agencies billing processes accurately and timely. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
